Did you know -
  • Cheetahs go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just three seconds!
  • Baby Eels look transparent until they grow large enough to move from the surface of the ocean to the deeper waters where they live  or for freshwater Eels to return to the freshwater. This process may take as long as two and a half years.
  • When a Mimic Octopus is being pursued by a hungry neighbor, they change color and shape to resemble as many as 15 other venomous or toxic creatures which eat their hungry neighbors  such as Crabs, Lion Fish, Sole, Batoids, Anemones, Jellyfish, Starfish, and Sea Snakes.
  • Immortal Jellyfish  revert to their polyp stage (this process is called transdifferentiation) and basically lets them age backwards  revert to being polyps and then clone themselves to make all new Immortal Jellyfish  which are identical to the original - meaning they dondie, they just keep starting over again and again.

  • Hoatzins (HWAT-sins) chicks are born with odd, special claws on their wings.
  • The hooves on Moose are large  and work like snowshoes  very helpful since they live where there is a lot of snow!
  • When Boxfish are ready to have babies, the dads show off their bright colors to the moms, then they dance, swim around, and actually hum loud enough if you are swimming nearby, you will hear them!
  • Olms have actually been observed to be still, not moving, for more than 2,500 days in a row!
In Cheetahs, Mimic Octopuses, Hoatzins & More! the children you love will be able to learn so many fun, surprising, and interesting things about animals, participate in activities they will never forget, and you will have the opportunity to engage them in important conversations about how these incredible animals help them know God is real! What could be a better gift!
