- Red-Lipped Batfish use their fins to “walk” along the bottom of the ocean.
- Rufous Hummingbirds are able to survive in the cold of Alaska by becoming “torpid” – they reduce their body temperature and metabolic rate at night when it is cold until it warms up in the day.
